Visit the Technology Centers at CMM!
Two Technology Centers have been announced for CMM International 2007 next June. These Technology Centers are designed to enable attendees to get hands-on exposure to the latest equipment and solutions in the converting and package printing industry. In addition, conference attendees will be able to take advantage of the Technology Centers with special sessions that will combine classroom time and actual production time.
The first Technology Center is "Flexible Packaging," and is sponsored so far by Bobst, Profama, Hudson-Sharp, AirTrim, Comexi, and BST Pro Mark. With Bobst's Schiavi digital flexo press, Profama's Pratica 1200 slitter/rewinder, Hudson-Sharp's bag making machine, AirTrim's pneumatic trim system, Comexi's latest laminating equipment, and a BST Pro Mark inspection solution, this Technology Center will be producing live jobs each of the four days of the show.
The second Technology Center, "Bridging the Gap: Narrow-to Mid-Web" is currently sponsored by DiTrolio Flexographic Institute, Propheteer International, J&H Printing Solutions Inc., bielomatik jagenberg Inc., BST Pro Mark, Martin Automatic, Anderson & Vreeland, Styers Equipment, DMS, Alden & Ott, Harper Corporation of America, Prime UV, RotoMetrics, and AirTrim. This center will feature a Propheteer flexo press, the JH 1300 narrow web press from J&H Printing Solutions, bielomatik RFID solutions, BST Pro Mark inspection technology, a Martin Automatic butt splicer, Anderson & Vreeland plates, Converting Equipment International slitter technology from Styers Equipment, DMS dies, Alden & Ott inks, anilox rolls from Harper, UV curing equipment from Prime Systems, dies from RotoMetrics, and other ancillary equipment producing a variety of jobs each day. Materials are being provided by Green Bay Packaging and others.
