CMM International Event Management Team
James Enos — Vice President. With more than twelve years executive management experience in both domestic and international high-tech magazines and trade shows, Jim assumed overseeing the CMM International franchise in January 2006. In addition to his CMM management responsibilities, he is also Group Publisher of Electronic Publishing, Affinity Publishing and CleanRooms magazines. Enos has successfully launched and produced magazines and events throughout Asia, Europe, Puerto Rico, South America and the United States.
Keith Hevenor -- Editorial/Conference Director, Editor of Electronic Publishing. Hevenor began his career in the publishing industry more than fifteen years ago. In 1989, he joined PennWell as a magazine production manager, and was actively involved in the transition to desktop publishing and electronic prepress. He began writing and editing for Electronic Publishing in 1991, and assumed leadership in 1999. His practical experience in both traditional and electronic prepress gives him the insight to analyze the industry as it evolves and to comment on important industry trends.
Wendy Lissau — Manager, Corporate Marketing Communications. Lissau joined PennWell in 1998 and currently oversees corporate marketing operations for more than 20 events and 14 magazines worldwide in the power, water, dental, fire services and advanced technology divisions. Starting as the marketing manager for the U.S. power generation group, she has worked on a wide range of events and magazine titles during her tenure at PennWell. She has more than ten years of experience in the marketing and advertising field, having managed several state and national ad accounts at a major advertising agency before joining PennWell.
Andrea Flaherty — Marketing Manager. With more than eight years in the events industry as an Event Manager at PennWell, Flaherty has organized and managed trade shows, conferences, and seminars in various high tech industries all over the world, including Europe, Asia, and throughout the United States. Andrea is also a member of the Board of Directors for the New England Chapter of the International Association of Exhibition Management (IAEM).
Lindsay Pater — Conference Coordinator. Pater has a proven track record of successfully developing and managing conferences for the pharmaceutical and digital imaging industries. She has previously held marketing and conference production roles with The Center for Business Intelligence in Woburn, MA, and Lyra Research, Inc. in Newtonville, MA. As the CMM Conference Coordinator, Pater will closely work with Conference Chairman, Keith Hevenor, to develop insightful and educational conference sessions that address timely industry trends and topics.
Jeff Gallagher — Account Manager. Gallagher has been involved in event sales for fifteen years. He has worked primarily within the IT marketplace, representing sales positions from individual contributor to VP of Sales. He has been directly responsible for strategic business events such as: COMDEX, Seybold Seminars, ON DEMAND and AIIM. Jeff also has extensive sales experience in creating customize conference/sales exhibits via experience with Tech Target.
Bill Langehneim — Account Manager. Langenheim has worked with PennWell selling exhibit space and sponsorships for POWER-GEN International, a Tradeshow 200 conference & exhibition in the power generation market and COAL-GEN, which addresses topics specific to coal-fired power plants. Previously, he owned and operated a business in the photographic industry for 15 years.
Adrian van Beuningen — Account Manager. Van Beuningen has worked on CMM International for over three years and is responsible for CMM sales in Europe and Asia. Adrian is an experienced business-to-business sales professional and has successfully sold exhibition space, sponsorships and advertising for leading shows and magazines in the pulp, paper and converting industry, including CMM International, Tissue World franchise, Transport Symposium, and Asian Paper. Adrian holds a Bachelor degree in Media Science and Psychology from the University of Düsseldorf in Germany and a Masters in Artificial Intelligence from the University of Leuven in Belgium. He is fluent in German, English, and French.
Lisa Gasaway — Event Operations Manager. Gasaway joined PennWell in April of 2000 as the conference coordinator for POWER-GEN International. Since then, she was promoted to conference manager for PGI as well managing COAL-GEN and launching POWER-GEN Renewable Energy. Lisa's currently an Event Operations Manager and team leader of the Power & Petroleum events.
Fred Shapiro — Technical Consultant. A widely recognized technical authority in the converting marketplace, Shapiro brings close to fifty years of converting industry experience to the CMM International team. Fred has organized and conducted conferences and workshops in many countries as well as serving as CMM International¿s Conference Chairman since 1989. He has received many industry honors including being inducted into FTA¿s President¿s Award and being named to the FTA¿s Hall of Fame. Shapiro is a prolific author and in addition to publishing a book dealing with industry environmental issues, has written numerous articles for trade publications worldwide.
Roger Halligan, CEO, H+A International, Inc. — Industry Advisor. For more than twelve years, Halligan has played an important role in the positioning, branding, and marketing of CMM International. In his role as Industry Advisor, Halligan will continue to provide a variety of marketing communication services including association partnership arrangements, trade magazine partnering and negotiations, and public relations activities including working closely with editors and publishers, and competitive event analysis.
